On Friday, October 11, 2014, Leviathan Lab Applied Theatre Initiative Co-Directors Lydia Gaston and Claro de los Reyes spoke as part of the panel Rainbow Connections: Sharing & Building Theatre Programs for Asian American Youth at the Consortium of Asian American Theaters & Artists' 2014 National Asian American Theater Conference at the Asian American Arts Initiative in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Lydia and Claro, along with Mu Performing Arts Artistic Director Randy Reyes; National Asian Artists Project Board Director Nina Zoie Lam; and playwright, director, and taiko drum artist Rick Shiomi, panel moderator.

Congratulations to Leviathan Writer-in-Residence Kristine M. Reyes for her induction as a 2014-2015 Fellow with The Dramatists Guild of America.

The Piano, a semi-autobiographical full-length drama by Robert Kuang, and starring Jo Yang and Leviathan Lab alumni Karen Lee and Jessica Anne Cox, enters its closing weekend of performances at Manhattan's Theater for the New City, 155 1st Avenue. Leviathan Lab's short film TWO WEEKS is making its NYC cable television debut! It will air first this Tuesday Sept. 23rd at 10pm on WNYE Channel 25 and re-broadcasts on Sunday Sept 28th at 9:30pm.
